EIS – The Next Steps
The diagram below represents the EIS process so far and what will occur in the next stage of the process.

- The EIS report has been prepared and lodged with the Coordinator-General.
- The Coordinator-General has invited the public and advisory agencies to review the EIS and submit their responses directly to the Coordinator-General.
- These responses will then be evaluated in consultation with advisory agencies and a Supplementary EIS will be undertaken if required. A Supplementary EIS provides an opportunity for the Coordinator-General to consider additional information in response to comments or review statements made during the Public Notification Period.
- The Coordinator-General will then report decisions, conditions and recommendations on subsequent approvals.
- If approved, Shute Harbour Marina Development will then seek approvals through decision makers such as local council to commence works.
