Revised Concept Plan
The following revisions have been made to the concept plan.
- The shape of the marina has been adjusted after extensive analysis and modelling to ensure the coastal processes of the area are maintained. This will ensure that there will be no issues due to scouring or siltation.
- The marina entrance has been moved to the west to allow greater access by local marine traffic. This will ensure that there is more than ample room for both commercial and recreational traffic. In particular, there will be plenty of clearance to enable the manoeuvring of barges in and around the barge wharf.
- The number of marina berths has been reduced to 669 due to the above changes. However, the number of multihull berths has been maintained at 193.
